"I Give My First Love to You (Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu)" - A story about life, death and friendship - By Vanny

 "I Give My First Love to You (Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu)" a Japanese teen romantic movie which I watch recently and fall in love with this movie. It’s not only a love story it’s a story about life, death and friendship also. It’s sweet but sad at the same time. It’s a heart breaking and tear jerking movie but those who don’t like sad ending I must tell you that this movie posses really some good moments which flatter my heart and I come to love this movie very much

This is a story of two childhood friends Takuma and Mayu. Takuma, who is treated by Mayu's father in the hospital, meets Mayu, becomes friends and finally each other's first love. When they come to know that Takuma will not live past the age of 20 due to an incurable heart disease, they make a promise to each other  to get married when the grow up without knowing the seriousness of the fact at that young age. From then they are together like a couple and keep waiting to happen a miracle.

Mayu continues to support and love Takuma but the story take a different turn when they grow up and go to high school.  Takuma comes to realize that his days are numbered and being with Mayu with his condition effects Mayu’s life and career later and he cannot stand to see her cry or hurt her more than he already has.  So he decides to give up Mayu for a guy named kou who falls for her. On the other hand Takuma gets involve with a girl Teru, who also has feeling for Takuma and suffering from the same disease. Until now Takuma facing the fact of his certain death very bravely and enthusiously with the support and love of Mayu but the sudden death of Teru makes Takuma frighten and realize how much he loves Mayu and need her by his side. Soon they clear all misunderstanding and become friend with kou.  In the mean time Kou gets into an accident and become brain dead and Takuma gets a heart donar and a chance to live again through kou. But the fact saddens Takuma and Kou’s family also refuses to do so and Takuma loses the chance. Though Mayu keep trying to convince Kou’s family but clock keep ticking away in Takuma’s life. Every passing minute makes Takuma realize that every moment with Mayu is too precious for him and also thankful to Mayu to make him experience the love and makes his life so special until now. Finally they decide, during the restricted time they had, they loved each other enough as much as a lifetime. Though at the end he is not able to escape his death but true love endures, and it’s an enduring story that warms my heart.

Really it’s a heart warming movie which every time makes me feel that we should always make every moment memorable and treasure it with person we truly love .So one must only keep on looking at the bright side of life, and continue to live with hope in their hearts and be grateful for a new day……………………..FIGHTING AZA AZA.
